Prangl celebrates 50 years of success
Founded in 1965 by Mr. Josef Prangl, the history of Prangl continued with the purchase of two telescopic cranes in 1967. In January 2009, the specialist on cranes, working platforms and heavy transport has reached its space limits and moved from its long-term company location in Brunn am Gebirge to the 23rd district of Vienna.
Within a construction period of one and a half years, the new company headquarters was built and then the entire company was relocated with almost 270 highly qualified employees. With around 67,000 m², the company now has more than twice as much space in Vienna. 51,000 m² of the new location in Vienna have already been installed. The result is 3,500 m² of office and social space, 3,800 m² of workshop space and 20,500 m² of halls and roofs.
In its 50-year history, the company has developed into an international group of companies with a total of 17 locations in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Slovakia as well as areas of operation throughout Europe. In the fiscal year 2015/2016, the total of 650 employees generated consolidated sales of EUR 93.2 million.
The services range from hiring a work platforms with or without personnel, to demanding heavy transports, crane operations and heavy loads for the construction, entertainment, petrochemical, power plant and wind power industry.
