Premiere of the Antwerp Shuttle with the Rail Cargo Group

RCA presents new service connecting Belgium and Austria three times weekly at the Munich transport logistics fair

It is an absolute novelty in the product range of the freight division of the ÖBB: a shuttle from Austria to Belgium and back. On 4 May 2015, the Rail Cargo Group launched the first service from Linz to Antwerp, a high-frequency transportation system that connects Western Europe three times a week with South and Southeast Europe. The target area of the shuttle is the extensive area of the port of Antwerp, but also Zeebrugge and other economic regions in Belgium. The supply of the surrounding industrial enterprises is a key feature of the service portfolio. The new shuttle was presented for the first time at the trade fair in Munich.
