Fercam opens new location in Turkey

New branch in Istanbul strengthens Fercam’s presence in the Mediterranean; Simultaneous foundation of the Turkish subsidiary Fercam Lojistik

Opening a new office in Istanbul recently, Fercam strengthened its presence in the Mediterranean and increases the density of its European branch network while improving its logistics services. Initially, the services offered in Turkey will be limited to full and part load transport mainly on the routes to and from Italy and Germany, as well as via Turkey to the Middle East. A later gradual expansion the of logistics and transport services is in the pipeline.

When the Turkish subsidiary Fercam Lojistik was established in early April, also the first Turkish branch of the South Tyrolean transport and logistics company has started its activities. Following the opening of the offices in Morocco and Tunisia, the office in Istanbul is an important part of the growth strategy of Fercam in the Mediterranean.

The new team in the Turkish capital, currently counting three employees, is now offering full and part loads transport with direct links to the European network of Fercam, with handling of all customs formalities in advance completing the service range. In the course of this year a further 5 employees will be recruited. In addition, own departments for air and sea freight and logistics for special projects shall be set up.
