Dr Helen Benton, Associate Professor of Sustainable Supply Chains and Project Management at Anglia Ruskin University, will be speaking at Logistics Manager’s Sustainable Supply Chain Conference in London on 10 May 2023.

The topic of her presentation will be circular transformation of supply chains. She will cover the process of making the supply chain circular including the challenges and solutions associated with this. She will also present examples of sustainable and circular supply chains, revealing why it is so important to have a supply chain that is both sustainable and circular.

Dr Benton has successfully led a range of research projects funded by Innovate UK, HEFCE, and commercial clients. Her latest completed supply chain knowledge transfer project was rated as “outstanding” by UKTI Innovate UK.

She has held leadership positions, including being Director of Learning and Teaching, during which time she led a suite of projects which transformed the student satisfaction from 72% to 91%. She leads large, multi-site, international modules in sustainable supply chains and project management and is a Principal Fellow of Advance HE.

The conference is a one-day face-to-face event which highlights the untapped opportunity of supply chain decarbonisation in international climate action while also covering how having sustainability at the very core of businesses and their strategies can influence the bottom line.

The event offers attendees a total of five CPD hours – accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport – to keep up with their professional development, as well as invaluable insight from experts in the world of supply chain sustainability and networking opportunities.
