PV array for Domino’s NDC

Domino’s Pizza is seeking planning permission for a photovoltaic array on the roof of its national distribution centre at Omega, in the Northwest.

The company is looking to provide power to offset costs at its  117,000ft² industrial building on Skyline Drive which it considers is the ‘backbone’ of its business.

Warrington Council’s has received proposals for the installation of 2,143 roof mounted solar panels that could provide up to 822,816 kwh a year for the company  roughly 98% of its own power consumption and negate some 191,654 kg of CO2 Emissions a year.
