Pyroban Group buys Baldwin and Francis
The Pyroban Group has purchased Sheffield, (UK) based explosion proof electrical equipment manufacturer Baldwin and Francis.
Baldwin and Francis provides explosion protection and a range of switchgear, transformers, power centres, and other Exd or intrinsically safe electrical items, for use in the mining industry, surface mining and quarrying industry, and rail industry, amongst others.
Brian Quarendon, CEO of the Pyroban Group said: “Investments and improvements at the Sheffield manufacturing operation will help bring new opportunities to this well-established business.
“The Baldwin and Francis business will continue as normal with no interruption of supply.”
