R. Fletcher is the new UPS country manager for Austria and Slovenia

UPS wants to boost its growth in Austria and Slovenia and support its customers’ success in the global market

UPS, the globally operating provider of solutions for parcel and freight shipment, has appointed Rick Fletcher as its new country manager for Austria and Slovenia, with headquarters in Vienna. In this function he will be in charge of the operative and business development as well as the strategic orientation in the two countries. Rick Fletcher (37) is succeeding Martin Seitz, who assumed the position as industrial engineering coordinator for UPS Europe, with headquarters in Brussels.

“Rick Fletcher has sustainable experience in the segments of operation and engineering from different countries, which he can apply in his new position“, says Cindy Miller, President UPS Europe. “I am convinced he and his team will drive the growth and excellent service of UPS in Austria and Slovenia, to promote our customers’ success in the global market.“

Rick Fletcher has started his career with UPS in 1998, subsequent to his study, from which he graduated with a diploma in transport management and planning. He started with parcel delivery in Nuneaton, UK and has lately been holding the function of the director industrial engineering in the district of Turkey, Near East and Central Asia district in Istanbul.
