Retail warehouse to be redeveloped for logistics
A retail warehouse previously let to Benson for Beds is to be redeveloped as a new logistics warehouse.
Vinter Estates has submitted plans for the speculative redevelopment of the site at Hellaby Industrial Estate in Rotherham, South Yorkshire into a 72,685 sq ft warehouse scheme with integral ancillary offices.
Known as Focus 72, the developer aims to start construction following planning permission with completion scheduled for late 2021.
Savills and Heaney Micklethwaite are joint agents.
The site is located about five miles from Rotherham town centre and nine miles from Sheffield, and benefits from easy access to Junction 1 of the M18, M1, A1(M), and M62.
