Rhenus Office Systems opens security archive in Austria

On 13 November Rhenus Office Systems GmbH is to open their first security archive in Austria. In the past months a state-of-the-art security archive with a storage capacity for 350,000 folders was established in Gross Enzersdorf near Vienna. The facility offers banks, industrial and business enterprises as well as public institutions solutions to store confidential papers and business documents.

“By establishing this new facility in Austria, Rhenus Office Systems expand their activities in Europe“, says Jens Kumbrink, Managing Director. In Gross Enzersdorf about 30 kilometres of IT-controlled rack systems are available. Complex security arrangements like modern surveillance technology and locks protect the documents from unauthorised access. The security is also granted by trained specialist staff, who document archiving and access to the papers in a gapless manner.

"Opening this location, Rhenus Office Systems responds to the growing demand for outsourcing of document logistics and the secure storage of business documents according to international standards“, says Stefan Schneider, Sales Manager Rhenus Office Systems Austria GmbH. “Outsourcing has many advantages for customers: lower costs for space and staff, documents can be traced in a gapless way, historiography of documents grants revision-safety and accounting is carried out source-related on the accounts level.“

Rhenus Office Systems GmbH provides system services in national and international document logistics. The services are ranging from incoming mail via digitalisation and providing their customers archives to destruction or hiring of temporary agency workers for these fields. Rhenus Office Systems is a 100-per cent subsidiary of the Rhenus Group.
