Schneckenreither’s logistics park “all wels“ is ready for take-off

Multifunctional logistics park “all wels“ is the biggest single investment in the history of Schneckenreither Group
 
The Schneckenreither group is expanding their commitment in warehousing business in the segment of deep freeze and pharmaceutical logistics. The expansion is based on the new multifunctional logistics facility “all wels“, with rail siding. The facility shall start operating in October 2013. The investment into the facility including the site in Wels totals to EUR 20 million. “This is the biggest investment in the company’s history“, says Alfred Schneckenreither during a presentation to the press.
 
The new building has 15,000 m² covered warehouse area, which is divided into 4 halls providing space for about 23,600 pallet slots. About 10,000 m² pallet slots are reserved for deep freeze and fresh products. Standard services include operations in the following segments: storage/picking and value added services, such as placing, price labelling or set formation with pre- and oncarriage and distribution. The value added services are managed by the partner company Packservice.  For Alfred Schneckenreither this logistics parks means consolidation of Upper Austria’s central region.
 
The Schneckenreither forwarding company is a medium-sized provider of transport and logistics services with focus on land transport (national/international) and warehousing logistics. Established in 1970 the company operates a total covered warehousing area of more than 75,000 m² at 13 locations in Austria and three abroad. The Schneckenreither group covers several forwarding and transport companies with about 430 employees and their own fleet of 160 trucks and about 100 swap bodies. The group aims to achieve a total turnover of EUR 110 million in the 2013 financial year.
