Already present in Romania, Czech Republic and Poland, SDV expands its network in a key central European country by founding a subsidiary in Hungary. SDV Hungary is created in partnership with Airmax, its exclusive agent since 2007.

The signature of this joint venture occurred in March 28, 2014 at the headquarters of SDV in Puteaux (France) with Mr. Herbert de Saint Simon, CEO SDV and Mr. Gabor Turu, CEO Airmax.

„Beyond the development strategy of SDV in Central Europe, SDV has the ambition to accompany its major customers of the pharmaceuticals, aerospace and telecoms sectors – booming in Hungary – with all range of services related to the international supply chain and adapted to their respective industries in which SDV has developed a world-renowned expertise“, says Henri Le Gouis, CEO of SDV Central & Western Europe.

SDV Hungary located in Budapest and managed by Zoltán Bagyinski, relies on the expertise of the local market of the air and ocean freight and the logistics capabilities of Airmax particularly in the pharmaceuticals with a 1,200 m² under temperature-controlled warehouse. SDV Hungary became the 22nd country for SDV in Europe. This country with high potential will be a major asset for the development of the global network.
