The quality of Austrian apprenticeship training in the forwarding industry is confirmed by “world-class successes” in national, European and also international professional championships: after successful state championships of forwarding merchants in 2015 and 2017, when young forwarding merchants from among the best graduates of the country, Austria was able to achieve the 3rd place at the WorldSkills 2017 in Abu Dhabi for the first time.

Now the profession of forwarding merchant was approved as the first non-commercial one at EuroSkills 2018 in Budapest. The winner of AustriaSkills 2017, Ms. Michaela Dužić, will represent Austria there.
