Silentnight extends Panther home delivery contract for three years
UK mattress manufacturer Silentnight has extended its home delivery contract with two-man, white-glove carrier Panther for three years, building on a six-year agreement.
Panther will handle over 1,000 next day and nominated day deliveries per week for Silentnight, as well as providing a reverse logistics recycling service.
Matthew Thomlinson, Customer Services and 3PL Manager at Silentnight Group, said: “We continually aim to provide all of our customers with industry leading delivery options and flexibility, as our products start their journey from our factories, right to the point of delivery to our customers.
“Panther’s unique ethos of ‘if it doesn’t currently exist in our industry, let’s find a way to make it happen’, is one that sets them apart from its competitors and is something of a rarity within its sector.”
Gary McKelvey, Commercial Director of Panther Warehousing, said the partnership had an “ethos” of continually reviewing and improving services.
