Simarco opens £10m Staffordshire DC
Simarco has taken a 10-year lease on an 108,000 sq ft depot in Stoke worth £10 million which will act as its logistics and distribution centre for the north of England, Manchester and the Midlands.
The distribution centre will create 130 new jobs and complement Simarco’s eight other UK sites.
“This development is a major undertaking on our part but entirely necessary given both our expansion plans and the amount of freight traffic which we are dealing with,” said co-founder and chief executive Simon Reed.
