Sorion to demonstrate AMR system at IntraLogisteX

Sorion Electronics, a global provider of end of line test and guided assembly systems for the automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing industries will be exhibiting at the IntraLogisteX exhibition on 28-29 March 2023.

The two-day event, which is the biggest intralogistics and warehousing trade show in the UK, will take place at the NEC Birmingham and, for the first time ever, will be co-located with Robotics and Automation, the UK’s largest dedicated robotics and automation exhibition.

Visitors to the show will be able to see a live demonstration of an MiR250 Shelf Carrier integrated with shelves and a docking conveyor at Sorion’s stand. This will take place at stand i320 in Hall 6 of the NEC.

The company’s solutions include error proofing solutions, end of line test systems, and logistics systems. Amongst its offerings for the logistics industry are pick-to-light and put-to-light systems as well as autonomous mobile robot (AMR) systems.

Each system is built around Sorion’s Fleetware software, which it describes as a ‘flexible management system for mission assignment, with real time adaptation to changing demands’.

Sorion claims that its mobile robot systems are ‘helping logistics and manufacturing companies to increase operator productivity and accuracy, while lowering labour costs and operator training time’.

Sorion Electronics (Stand i320) will be at IntraLogisteX on 28-29 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. For more information, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk.
