SR Technics renews Kuehne + Nagel’s contract for five years
SR Technics has renewed its contract with Kuehne + Nagel in the field of aviation logistics for another five years. Kuehne + Nagel has supported the globally operating SR Technics Group for more than fifteen years, providing industry-specific services. As a leading independent airline technical solutions provider with capabilities covering most Airbus and Boeing aircraft types, SR Technics manages a diversified global customer base, including major airlines, aircraft leasing companies and OEMs. The group maintains more than 800 aircraft around the world with almost 80,000 different components. "We consider the relationship with SR Technics as a strategic partnership," said Manfred Schellhammer, managing director of the Kuehne + Nagel in Switzerland, adding that the company’s Supply the Sky concept covers competencies throughout the entire aircraft lifecycle – from individual aircraft-on-ground management through to performance-based supply chain solutions.
