SSI Schaefer wins Premier Farnell contract

Intralogistics provider SSI Schaefer is to equip technology development distributor Premier Farnell’s new 361,000 sq. ft distribution centre in Leeds.

SSI Schaefer’s fully integrated solution will utilise a Navette Matrix System which will operate alongside vertical lift storage machines and conveyors, conventional shelving and pallet storage. The solution will be managed by SSI Schaefer’s WAMAS warehouse management system

All processes have been designed to consider the nature of the product and the current regulations governing its handling and storage, enabling Premier Farnell to meet increasing business demands and deliver a high return on investment. The site expected to be operational by late 2019/early 2020.
