St Modwen sets out plan for 58 acre Brentwood site

St Modwen plans to develop a 58 acres site near the M25 at Brentwood after signing an agreement with landowners S and J Padfield.

It is proposing to deliver around 1 million sq ft of B1, B2 and B8 floor space at the site at the junction of the M25 and A127. Much of the site is currently in use by contractors as a depot for maintenance work for the motorway and highway network.

Tim Seddon, London & South East regional director at St Modwen, said: “The core attraction of this site lies in its strategic location on junction 29 of the M25. It has enormous potential and we have every confidence that this will be a flagship project for St. Modwen that will bring significant warehouse, office and factory employment to the area.”
