Stobart expands ops team

Eddie Stobart has expanded its operations team with two new appointments. Antony Leighton has been appointed sector director for manufacturing, industrial and bulk (MIB) and Nick Winder as sector director for retail.

Leighton has 22 years’ experience in the transport and logistics industry, and Nick joins the business with 19 years’ experience in retail logistics.

“Both Tony and Nick bring an enormous amount of knowledge and experience to the business and will play a key part in building our client base in the MIB and retail sectors,” said David Pickering, COO of Eddie Stobart. “Their appointments will not only help us to develop the services we provide to our customers, but ultimately, support our business growth and investment activities into expanding markets.”
