Supply Chain Management-consultant Barkawi opens office in Vienna

New office of Barkawi Management Consultants in Vienna serves as a basis for further expansion in Eastern Europe

The management consulting company Barkawi headquartered in Munich opens an office in Vienna by the start of May 2012. The new location will be managed by Andreas Tengler, who had been working as a partner at Czipin Consulting and has many years of management experience in international industrial enterprises.

„Thanks to the neighbourhood of Middle and East European growth markets and the excellent infrastructure, Austria has become one of Europe’s top logistics locations in the past years. We want to use this business potential through our new office in Vienna and use it as a basis for our further expansion in Eastern Europe“, says managing director Karim Barkawi.

The new office in Vienna will put new emphasises, in particular in the change and process management. “In particular in the two footholds of Barkawi, the management of change processes plays an increasingly important role", says Andreas Tengler. “Many enterprises are facing basic changes in their supply chain. Professional change and process management is a crucial factor of success in such cases."
