syncreon leases 50,000 m2 in Tilburg

syncreon, a worldwide logistics service provider, has just signed an important lease agreementat Prologis Park Tilburg DC3. The deal is with Prologis, Inc., the leading global owner, operator, and developer of industrial real estate, to lease approximately 50,000 m2 (540,000 sq ft).

As of December 1, 2011, syncreon will occupy units B, C, and D of Prologis Park Tilburg DC3. With this deal, syncreon is not only obtaining stable accommodations for its current activities, but it is also preparing for growth in the future as the building offers possibilities for further expansion. The Tilburg site is a deliberate choice for both parties, given the fact that it is a modern complex with a strategic location that allows for multimodal transport to the rest of the Netherlands and beyond. In addition to existing advantages, there is an important focus on investments in the logistics park, such as a second barge terminal and further expansion possibilities.

Brian Murphy, Managing Director, syncreon Benelux: “This is a significant and strategic step for us. Together with Prologis, we’ve worked hard to make this happen. Now we have another base from which we can focus on providing further services to our clients. Additionally this allows us room to bring on new clients in a shorter timeframe.”

Bram Verhoeven, Vice President, Prologis Benelux: “The leasing agreement we signed with syncreon is a key deal for Prologis this year. We’re talking about an important location with a vast amount of strategic potential, and syncreon will be reaping the benefits in the large space they have leased. It’s good to know that syncreon will be here for the long term and can expand in the future. In addition to the space that syncreon has now leased, Prologis Park Tilburg offers various alternatives to accommodate other companies.”
