Tesco appoints Woolfenden following Laffey departure
Andrew Woolfenden has replaced Alex Laffey as UK distribution director at Tesco, following Laffey’s departure from the supermarket to take on the role of CEO of Eddie Stobart Logistics.
Woolfenden joined Tesco five years ago as distribution personnel manager, and has also served as distribution director fresh and frozen foods and operations director extras. Most recently he was the supermarket’s retail director.
Laffey is leaving Tesco, for whom he has worked for 25 years, to become CEO of Eddie Stobart Logistics from 5th May.
