TFG Transfracht appoints Berit Börke to the management board

Berit Börk is in charge of the sales department a member of the management board of the market leader in seaport hinterland transport on the railway

Ms. Berit Börke (44) was appointed to the management board of TFG Transfracht with responsibility for the sales department, effective 1 December 2014. She has many years of expertise in seaports hinterland logistics and held several managing positions within the enterprise since 2004, including the position as regional head for German seaports and sales manager.

The operations department in the TFG management board remains with Kerstin Corvers; Rainer Gödde has been in charge of the controlling and financial department since 2012.

TFG Transfracht is the European market leader for containerised seaport hinterland transport from the ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven to locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. Their customers are international shipping lines and forwarders. The company’s AlbatrosExpress network is the most efficient rail network in Europe in this segment. At more than 22 terminals they handle about 12,000 connections per year. Every day they provide a treansport capacity of 4,000 TEU. TFG Transfracht is a company of DB Mobility Logistics AG with annual sales of EUR 221 million (2013).
