The White Company spreads its wings at Swan Valley

Luxury lifestyle retailer The White Company has taken Aviva Investors’ 191,114 sq ft warehouse at Swan Valley Distribution Park in Northampton.

The company is relocating from Brackmills Industrial Estate to the larger premises due to continued business expansion. It has taken a 20 -year lease with a ten-year break.

Phil Clarke, CFO for The White Company, said: “Officially opening later this year, The White Company has made a decision to relocate its existing premises within a five mile radius of its current location in order to protect the current distribution and contact centre teams and to demonstrate a real commitment to invest in our people in Northampton.” The company opened its Brackmills DC in May 2005.

Swan Valley is a high quality warehouse building comprising 154,603 sq ft of warehousing space and 31,474 sq ft of offices on a self contained site of 8.2 acres. The building is fully fitted. It is located close to Junction 15A of the M1 motorway.

Property consultants CBRE, along with joint agents JLL and North Rae Sanders, advised Aviva Investors on the letting while Knight Frank acted on behalf of The White Company.
