Kai Schmuck joins combi-freight specialist
With effect from this month, Kai Schmuck (48) joins trans-o-flex’s Board of Directors in Weinheim as well as the Management team of the Parcel & Logistics division of Österreichische Post AG. For the time being, the main task for trans-o-flex’s entire management team will be to design the company’s structure that serves to increase both customer benefit and profitability. The existing focus of the operations on the pharmaceutical industry constitutes will be an important pillar for the development of the company’s future national and international organisation”. Before joining trans-o-flex, Kai Schmuck had continued his career in the Fashion business unit of the Logwin Group (formerly Thiel-Logistik), where he, as a member of the Management Board, was responsible for Sales & Marketing from 2002 onwards. Before that, Schmuck, who has been active in the logistics industry for almost 30 years, held various management positions in the forwarding and so-called KEP segments (courier, express and parcel), e.g. at Fedex, EMS-Kurierpost and GLS. |
