Transco relocates its headquarters from Constance to Singen

Transco group to relocate its headquarters to Singen by April 2014; customs office in Constance is not affected

The medium-sized logistics group Transco is to relocate its headquarters from Constance to Singen. The entire staff of 149 in the administrative and operative segments will still be employed at the location in Singen, 28 km away. The customs office in Constance remains as before.

In addition to better traffic connections, the site in Singen offers more space and expansion options to the forwarding enterprise. A partial transfer has already taken place in 2011. The current relocation shall be implemented in several stages and completed by April 2014. The company premises in Constance are owned by Transco, further use of the property is still open.

Transco has moved to a 40,000 m² location in Gottlieb-Daimler-Straße in Singen in 2011, and has initially operated traffic with Italy and later on pan-European transport. The Singen site has a washing facility, a fuel station and a repair shop, and has double the size of the headquarters premises in Constance. The administrative office will be enlarged by about 1,000 m². The investment in Singen totals EUR 3.8 million. At the logistics centre in Gottmadingen, about 9 km away, Transco operates 60,000 m² storage area.

Transco provides transport and logistics services with 22 own subsidiaries in eight European countries. Transco has about 550 employees, generating consolidated group turnover of about EUR 110 million in 2011. The strategic corporate development is focused on expanding the logistics network to Eastern Europe.
