TRANSNAUTIC POLAND WINS TWO MORE
airBaltic has appointed Transnautic as its offline GSSA for Poland, with effect from November 1st. Cargo will be fed into the airline’s system using road feeders from Warsaw to its twin hubs at Riga and Vilnius. airBaltic serves 48 destinations throughout the Baltic States, Europe, Eastern Europe, the Nordics, former Soviet Union, the Red Sea and Middle East using B737 and Fokker 50 aircraft. Transnautic has also won the contract to represent Coyne Airways in Poland, effective November 22nd. Transnautic will feed Coyne’s regular B747 freighter flights from Cologne to the Caspian oil states, Iraq and Afghanistan, using regular road feeders. Both carriers are also represented by Transnautic in Germany, and both also use further EGSAC members for representation in other markets. Says Transnautic Poland MD Waldemar Rybak: “It is very good to add two more carriers to our portfolio at such an early stage, especially as they are both well-established and very reputable operators. We can now offer many more destinations to our agent customers. “With a very strong, growing economy in Poland, the market needs all the additional destinations and capacity it can get. We look forward to working with further airlines who want to take advantage of the excellent potential Poland offers.” Transnautic Aero Poland’s launch customer was Norwegian Air Shuttle; it also represents many of its German parent’s airline principals on a sub-agency, offline basis. Transnautic has offices at Germany’s top 7 cargo airports, together with bases in Paris and Moscow. The company was one of the founder members of the EGSAC network, which has over 60 offices in over 30 countries, and of which it is now the exclusive member in Germany, France and Poland For further information, please contact: TRANSNAUTIC AERO POLAND Sp. z o. o.
