UPS about to expand its capacity in Styria

Express and logistics service provider UPS Austria moves its location in the Styria region from Graz Airport to the Cargo Center Graz

The Cargo Center Graz (CCG) has a new tenant. The United Parcel Speditionsges.m.b.H. (UPS) is relocating its branch in Styria from its previous site in Feldkirchen (Graz Airport), to Werndorf on 17 November. “We are moving to a new and bigger site which offers ideal transport connections via road, rail and air. In line with that, our sorting capacity will be increased significantly“, Rick Fletcher, Managing Director Austria & Slovenia at UPS, says in an interview with the logistics magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung.

UPS Austria is moving into a newly built object at the Cargo Center Graz, in the immediate vicinity of the Dachser terminal. The area offers about 1,000 m² for storage and handling of express goods, air and sea freight shipments. The company also has locations at the Cargo Nord-area of the Vienna International Airport, at the Linz Airport and in Innsbruck, Tyrol. The Austrian headquarters at the Vienna Airport and the Europe-Gateway in Cologne/Bonn are connected by a daily cargo flight (imports/exports), operated with a Boeing 767F.
