UPS appoints new UK, Ireland and Nordics president

Mark Vale has been appointed president of UPS UK, Ireland and Nordics taking on responsibility for all UPS operations in seven countries.

He succeeds Luis Arriaga, who become president of UPS Asia Pacific Transport based in Singapore.

Vale has been with the company since 1988. “UPS has been investing in the UK and, thanks to the demand we continue to see for cross-border services, I’m keen to keep that momentum going in the wider territory,” he said.

“Growing internationally is a great way for businesses of all sizes to get ahead,” he continued. “As the way the UK trades changes, businesses in the region need a smart logistics network now more than ever to deliver on their growth strategies.”
