UPS expands Express Freight service into Israel and Slovakia

UPS has announced the expansion of its UPS Express Freight service into Israel and Slovakia to serve expanding hubs for hi-tech, industrial and automotive companies.

The UPS premium airfreight service offers one- to three-business day door-to-door service, including customs clearance and an on-time performance guarantee.

According to Scott Aubuchon, director of international airfreight marketing at UPS, Israel and Slovakia are increasingly important players in the global trade arena.

Israel is a key destination in the hi-tech sector, with major players in the industry maintaining operations in the country. Almost half of Israel’s exports are generated by the hi-tech sector.

Now fully integrated with the EU, Slovakia has developed as a key centre for automotive and industrial manufacturing – sectors that benefit from UPS’s time-definite services to keep their supply chains moving.
