Waberer’s International Inc. purchased its 1000th MAN tractor

Five years relationship between Waberer’s group and MAN; discussions of strengthening the cooperation

Waberer’s International Inc. purchased its fleet’s 1000th unit, manufactured by the German MAN Truck & Bus. Due to the importance of the two companies’ relationship, which started five years ago, the tractor built to Waberer’s specifications with environmentally sound Euro5 engines was presented to György Wáberer CEO of Waberer’s International Inc. by Dr. Frank Heller, board member of MAN.

The German company provided 200 vehicles this year and 300 last year to Europe’s sixth largest road freight company.  As a result of the mutually beneficial and flexible cooperation, almost one third of Waberer’s fleet is made up of MAN tractors. The event created the opportunity for the two leaders to discuss the possibilities of strengthening the relationship in light of future procurements.

The size of Waberer’s International truck-trailer fleet, including the vehicles of its subsidiaries, reaches 3000 vehicles. Waberer’s International Inc. continuously upgrades its fleet, which has the average age of 2.5 years. The number of freight-vehicles expands annually by several hundred track-trailers equipped with Euro5 engines manufactured with the latest technologies, while the fleet’s upgrade to similarly economically and environmentally sound vehicles continues.

Waberer’s International Inc. is one of the leading logistics company in Central and Eastern Europe, and the sixth largest road transport company in Europe. Their services include all areas of logistics, from road transport through warehouse logistics to vehicle repairs.
