Warehouse take up above average in 2019

Provisional year-end take-up for UK logistics warehouses reached 34.1 million sq ft according to figures from Savills research.

In a tweet to followers Kevin Mofid, head of logistics and industrial research at Savills said on his twitter account @Kevtheshed: “Provisional year-end take-up for UK logistics warehouses reaches 34.1m sq ft, 31% above the long term average.”

Logistics Manager understands that a number of deals were signed in the last quarter of 2019 with up to 2.5 million sq ft due to complete in the North-West region alone.
