West Midlands mega shed reaches practical completion
AEW’s Fradley 437 scheme at Fradley Park in Lichfield has reached practical completion following a £20 million build by GMI Construction.
The building project managed by Evans Property Group totalling 437,054 sq ft boasts 36 dock and six level access doors, plus a large 100m secure yard with gatehouse.
The unit took 8 months to build and features 407,000 sq ft of warehouse space together with 30,000 sq ft of CAT A office accommodation. The development is the latest major project to be completed by GMI on Fradley Park having previously completed a giant 800,000 sq ft regional distribution centre in a record breaking 28 weeks for Tesco.
