Whistl triples size of Scottish hub

Whistl has officially opened its new Scottish depot – a 54,000 sq ft facility in Tannochside, Uddingston that is triple the size of its old site.

CEO Nick Wells said: “The tripling of our capacity in Scotland with Tannochside will allow Whistl to further expand our customer base and continue to provide a high quality and cost efficient service.”

The Tannochside depot is highly automated and the site employs 150 people. Whistl collects mail and packets from 250 collection points across Scotland, with 1200 clients in the public and private sector including Aegon and Standard Life.
