Wincanton secures kitchen and bathroom contract with Wickes

Wincanton has secured a contract with Wickes for home delivery of kitchen and bathroom products across south west England, the Midlands and parts of Wales.

Items will be loaded onto final delivery vehicles in Northampton and be moved to three locations operated by Wincanton where drivers will be swapped to conduct the delivery leg.

Dudley Holliday, head of kitchen and bathroom distribution at Wickes, said: “We’re always looking for innovative ways to work with partners to ensure great customer service and this new way of working will help achieve this for home delivery customers.”

Earlier this month Wincanton won a three-year contract renewal with Wickes to provide home delivery of heavier items to customers across the UK.
