Wincanton wins new MoD contract
Wincanton has been awarded a new three-year contract with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to distribute bulk aviation fuels.
The contract, secured in 2010, builds on a long-established partnership, with Wincanton as a supplier to the MoD for the UK distribution of bulk aviation fuels to both UK air bases and marine vessels.
Wincanton delivers more than 85 million litres of fuel per year for the MoD, which is equivalent to almost 2,500 vehicle loads. Deliveries are made to more than 25 sites across the UK.
