World Airways operates services for Saudi Airlines Cargo and Finnair Cargo

Global Aviation Holdings‘ subsidiary, World Airways, has entered into agreements to operate freighters for Saudi Airlines Cargo and Finnair Cargo.

Effective this month, World Airways operates one Boeing 747-400 freighter on a full-time basis for Saudi Airlines Cargo, providing capacity for the airline’s expanding network in the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

Saudi Airlines Cargo currently operates ten freighters and uses the belly capacity on 125 of Saudi Arabian Airlines passenger aircraft spanning a rapidly expanding global network of 225 destinations.

Effective June 15th, World Airways is providing Finnair Cargo with MD-11F all-cargo flights serving Helsinki, Shanghai and New York.

The new service is to operate twice a week using World’s traffic rights.

Finnair’s new freighter services also offer connections to Northern Europe and provide fast services from Northern Europe to Shanghai.

Georgia, US-based World Airways provides ACMI solutions using B747-400 and MD-11 freighter and passenger aircraft.
