Yodel launches global delivery services
Yodel has designed a new portfolio of global delivery services to be called Yodel World. By forming partnerships with key players, Yodel aims to take advantage of local knowledge, resources and expertise to provide a global delivery service.
The Yodel World portfolio offers a range of services and includes a mixture of postal and commercial delivery options, provided in conjunction with Yodel’s partners – KMUK Universal Solutions, bpost (Belgium Post) International and the international parcel unit of TNT Post.
Jonathan Smith, CEO of Yodel, said: "This move takes Yodel into a new, global market, expanding our portfolio to meet our clients‘ and their customers‘ demands. Yodel World allows us to provide an efficient and tailored international delivery service that utilises unrivalled delivery resources."
Yodel World has been launched with four services:
Yodel World Mail offers delivery for packages under 2 kg to anywhere in the world within 14 days. It provides a cost effective option for non-time critical, lower value items via Yodel’s partner, KMUK Universal Solutions.
Yodel World Pack, in conjunction with bpost international, provides a service that allows users to track their parcels, up to 2 kg in weight, at any time in the delivery process.
Yodel World Parcel combines full tracking with delivery confirmation for parcels up to 30 kg in weight. The service is provided in conjunction with bpost International.
Yodel Euro Express Home offers a specialised service for e-commerce consumer deliveries throughout the EU. This option, backed by the international parcel unit of TNT Post, is designed to accommodate parcels up to 30 kg, offering a single flat rate for each destination.
