Yodel launches new delivery service with DG International

Express parcels carrier Yodel and freight forwarder DG International have launched a global outbound service for UK retailers.

The new international service has been developed to provide a more efficient home delivery service to more than 200 countries for parcels of up to 30kg.

Yodel can now offer flexible overseas road, and air shipping solutions, as well as customs expertise. The delivery service offers full customer support and end-to-end tracking, using a single tracking number. Yodel transit times vary from 3-5 days for Europe, and 6-10 days internationally.

Duncan Lee, Yodel’s director of international business development, said ”We’re seeing an increased retailer focus on cross border sales to continue their expansion.”

Because of this, Lee said that the new ”service has been designed to enable retailers to open their online stores up to emerging markets that they possibly hadn’t considered before, as well as those already established”.
