Yusen upgrades London air freight facility
Yusen logistics has upgraded and relocated its UK air freight gateway at Heathrow.
The new facility provides integrated, warehousing space with temperature controlled processing capability, catering to food and pharmaceutical clients. It provides bonded storage and the ability to hold freight until Customs cleared with the associated fiscal benefits.
Roger Warlow, Yusen Logistics’ UK Forwarding business unit director, said: “This new air freight operation is superbly located for easy access into Heathrow and enables us to further enhance our services to our air freight customers seeking high quality solutions for their cargo.”
The operation is AEO, IATA, CAA and ISO accredited and is the first new External Temporary Storage Facility (ETSF) in Yusen Logistics UK.
