Chinese NGC establish European headquarter in the duisport

Logistic know-how is crucial: NGC gear and drive technology specialist to serve the European market from Germany in the future

NGC is the first Chinese enterprise to settle down in the port of Duisburg. Nanjing High Accurate Drive Equipment Manufacturing Group Co., Ltd (NGC) is a global player for gear and drive technology.

Establishing its European headquarters in Duisburg, the manufacturer offers its European customers direct access to its products and services. NGC is supported by the broad range of the duisport Group.

The parent company was founded in 1969 as Nanjing machine shop and after restructuring and expansion it was renamed into Nanjing High Speed Gear Factory in 1976. In 2001 the company was turned into a publicly traded company, which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2007 as China Transmission (stock code 0658). Within China, the company with its approximately 10,000 employees is valued at its one of the 100 most important and most competitive suppliers in mechanical engineering industry.

Because of the internationalization begun two years ago China Transmission is already represented in the United States for the North and South American markets, as well as in Singapore for the Asia-Pacific region. The official inauguration of the site with the approximately 1,000 m² factory building in Duisburg is planned for mid-year.
