DB Schenker trucking for ÖSV’s biathlon team
The new service truck accompanies the biathlon team of the Austrian Ski Federation (ÖSV) to World Cup events and equipment tests. DB Schenker, in particular the branch office in Ried, Upper Austria, will be in charge of this entire project.
The experts of the logistics company will provide a full range service to the Austrian Ski Federation enabling smooth transport from place to place to any venue throughout Europe.
The truck can only cover its total journey of 13,743 kilometers according to schedule and arrive on time at each location for each training session and race through precise coordination and punctual planning by the ÖSV and DB Schenker. The service truck is accompanying the top athletes throughout Europe. The program includes stops in Sweden, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Austria and Norway.
The Biathlon World Championship is the absolute highlight of the season; it will take place from February 8th – 19th 2017 in Hochfilzen, Austria.
