Private railway company LTE focuses on cross-border transportations

LTE Logistik- und Transport- GmbH is looking back on ten years of successful activity as a provider of national and international rail cargo transport. The enterprise based in Graz (Austria) was established in autumn 2000. The company is held by Porr Infrastruktur GmbH and Graz-Köflacher Eisenbahn GmbH, GKB in short. In addition to the Austrian operation (rail transport enterprise) there are subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia. The sister company Adria Transport in Slovenia – a joint venture of GKB and Luka Koper – was formed five years ago.

LTE is a private railway company that renders traction services on the rail. The core activities are cross-border operations. Their commitment ranges from logistics for construction sites and combined transport to raw material, kerosene and dangerous goods transportations. The traction fleet consists of seven locomotives.
