“The chemistry is right“ – Lagermax serves a new major customer

Lagermax Internationale Spedition organises distribution of gardening products in central and eastern Europe on behalf of Florissa Handels- und Produktions-GmbH:

The fordwarding company Lagermax Internationale Spedition GmbH took over distribution of brand products and own brand products of Florissa Handels- und Produktions-GmbH in Austria, Germany and eastern Europe. The company coordinates and controls the complete logistics chain. The starting point of the transportations of the gardening products is Florissa’s main warehouse in Bergheim near Salzburg. They supply do-it-yourself-markets, gardening shops and retailers. “Our individually elaborated transport and logistics concept convinced the domestic market leader Florissa to trust our service", Herbert Weber, Managing Director of Lagermax Spedition, says gladly.

In particular seasonal fluctuations in demand for gardening products require exact planning of transportations. In spring demand is particularly high for earth, fertilisers, pesticides and fungicides for gardens. “This is when supply to our customers has to function smoothly. Lagermax has elaborated a detailed logistics concept, which convinced us about going joint new paths", explains Ladislaus Szabo, Managing Director Florissa Handels- und Produktions GmbH.

Florissa had two criteria for cooperating with the transport and logistics enterprise Lagermax: National customers supply during peak times, spring and autumn, and a dense distribution network to the neighbouring countries. Florissa Handels- und Produktions-GmbH is currently dealing with its market entry in south-eastern Europe. As there are special customs regulations for exportations to non-EU-member countries, Lagermax offers support for all related export authorisations.
