Pharmaceuticals group BMS stays loyal to Yusen Logistics Europe

Yusen Logistics Europe is further supporting Bristol-Myers Squibb with distribution across Europe:

The cooperation between the pharmaceuticals group Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) and Yusen Logistics Europe is to be continued. The logistics service provider is in charge of distribution of prescription and over-the-counter medication across Europe. All vehicles used by Yusen Logistics Europe are equipped with GPS systems to control temperature and for localisation.

The partnership between the two companies started in 2007 with the development of a so-called lean supply chain for BMS by Yusen Logistics Europe. The following integration into the pharmaceuticals-distribution network named “The Superhighway“ generated new opportunities to the pharmaceutical group. They were able to form new business relations and establish a standard quality control across Europe. BMS expects this quality control to cut costs in future and steadily improve all processes.
