7-Eleven awards 2-year contract to RichLand Logistics
RichLand Logistics Services has been awarded a new two-year contract, valued at approximately S$3 million, to provide supply chain services to 7-Eleven in Singapore. The contract is one of the largest drop-delivery contracts in Singapore based on the number of delivery points involved on a daily and monthly basis. Under the contract, RichLand coordinates outbound transportation activities and directs a dedicated fleet of fourteen GPS-equipped trucks to deliver all ambient products from the 7-Eleven distribution centre to stores located throughout Singapore. Deliveries are performed from 07h00 to 04h00. The GPS technology enables RichLand’s drivers to pin-point store locations and plan the most efficient route when responding to replenishment orders for each store.
