Blue Danube Airport Linz consolidated its position as Austria’s biggest, regional cargo airport in the year 2010
In the year 2010 the Blue Danube Airport Linz achieved its best cargo result of all times. “The cargo segment developed sensationally”, managing director DI Gerhard Kunesch said full of enthusiasm when presenting the results. „With this record cargo result Airport Linz was able to expand its peak position as Austria’s biggest, regional airport“, he added. In the reporting period 44,809 tons of air freight consignments were handled at the Blue Danube Airport Linz, which means a 39.45 per cent increase on the year 2009.
