C.H. Robinson Worldwide settles company acquisition in Europe

Walker Logistics Overseas (London) becomes part of C.H. Robinson Worldwide

The US freight forwarding group C.H. Robinson Worldwide reinforces its network in Europe. A few days ago the takeover of Walker Logistics Overseas (London) was settled. The acquisition has five locations in England, Ireland and in the Netherlands with 75 employees. The services are ranging from air/sea freight and warehousing to courier and logistics. The Management of C. H. Robinson expects the new affiliate to consolidate the market position on the routes between Asia and Europe and at the hubs London and Amsterdam.

C.H. Robinson Worldwide, based in Eden Prairie in the US-state of Minnesota, employs around 7,500 persons in 232 offices around the globe. The European organisation of the enterprise that specialises in development and operation of multimodal transport logistics concepts consists of 27 offices and 380 employees.
