ACG Air Cargo Germany airline declares insolvency
Insolvency proceeding to pave the way for restructuring of Air Cargo Germany and restoring flight activities
The cargo airline ACG Air Cargo Germany has declared insolvency. After the temporary suspension of the Operating Licence for Air Cargo Germany, the management and shareholders of ACG unanimously decided to take this step. Through the insolvency proceeding both management and shareholders aim at creating an opportunity to restructure the company and restore operational activities. “All options will be taken into account to restore customer confidence”, Michael Schaecher, CEO, ACG Air Cargo Germany GmbH, announces in a written note.
ACG Air Cargo Germany GmbH is a German cargo carrier based at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport. The company operates a fleet of four Boeing B747-400SF. ACG has temporarily interrupted its flight operations as per April 18, 2013.
