Agility reaches out for Romania
The Global Integrated Logistics (GIL) unit of the globally acting Agility Group is consolidating its presence in south-eastern Europe. In the interview with the Österreichische Verkehrszeitung (Austrian Transport Journal) Beat Simon, Chief Executive Officer Europe, announced the foundation of a location in Romania. The new subsidiary shall start operating with 5 employees by March or April. The enterprise will start with land transport, airfreight and logistics services. An office with an attached warehousing area at the airport in Bucharest has been selected for the location. Agility Romania develops into “Area Southeast” of Agility Europe. The region includes locations in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Greece and Turkey with a total of around 200 employees. Quelle: Österreichische Verkehrszeitung |
